Privacy Policy

Church Missions provides software that helps churches manage missionaries, ministries, updates, approvals, displays, and communication. This policy explains how information is handled when a church, administrator, missionary, member, or visitor uses the service.

Information we collect

We may collect account details such as names, email addresses, roles, church affiliation, login and security information, and communication preferences. Churches and their users may add missionary and ministry profiles, prayer letters, messages, photos, videos, documents, and other submitted content.

We also collect basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as device and browser details, IP address, timestamps, activity records, notification subscriptions, storage usage, and diagnostic information.

How information is used

We use information to provide accounts and church workspaces, process submissions and approvals, deliver notifications and invitations, operate displays, provide support, prevent misuse, improve reliability, and administer subscriptions.

Church control and responsibilities

Each church controls the content and users in its workspace. A church may invite users, assign roles, approve or remove content, and manage access. Questions about content placed in a church workspace should normally be directed to that church.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate Church Missions, including Supabase for database, authentication, and file storage; Vercel for application hosting; Resend for transactional email; and Stripe for subscription billing. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Church Missions.

Sharing

We share information with the church workspace it belongs to, with service providers that help us run the service, when a user directs us to share it, and when required to comply with law or protect the service and its users. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

Information is retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update many account details inside the service. You may also ask your church administrator to correct or remove information in its workspace. For privacy requests involving the platform, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the applicable church.

Children

Church Missions is intended for use by churches and authorized users. It is not directed to children under 13, and children should not create accounts without appropriate church and parental oversight.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
